Wealth Advisor
Dana’s specialty is helping people transition into retirement. The decisions made during the twilight years of your career into the first few years of retirement will have a significant impact on your financial well-being for the rest of your life. During this critical time, you need an experienced professional on your side. If you are considering retirement or have recently retired, you should visit with Dana as soon as possible. He is here to help you make the right decisions in order to help you achieve a financially secure retirement. Dana’s years of experience helping people retire have shown him that when you have a written retirement plan your odds of success are greatly increased. He utilizes The Income for Life Model™ as the basis for your written plan. This method allows him to set measurable goals at specified intervals throughout your retirement, so you will always know you are on the right track. You would not set off on a road trip across the country without a map or GPS so why would you enter retirement without a written plan? Dana’s career with EFS Group started in 2008, with an internship during his junior and senior years at Morningside College. Dana graduated from Morningside with a bachelor’s in business administration and accepted a position as a financial advisor with another firm in Sioux City. He soon realized that EFS Group is where he belongs and rejoined the firm. Dana says, “I am glad I was able to find a firm whose values align with my own. We are not just managing people’s money, we are treating people with honesty, integrity, and love. I would not do business any other way.” Dana is married to Kadi and together they have two sons. Dana and Kadi are both lifelong Sioux City residents and are proud to call this community home for their young family. Dana and his family enjoy the outdoors through camping, fishing, golfing, and biking. An avid reader, Dana believes that lifelong learning and self-improvement are vital aspects of a fulfilling life. The most important thing to him is to be a good father to his boys and help them to realize their true potential.
