I have been a part of the financial services industry for 35 years. I specialize in providing independent, personal wealth management services to successful people approaching retirement. I am a FINRA licensed advisor, with my series 7, 63 and 65 exams. I am licensed in 6 states and am a registered investment advisor representative with Securities America Advisor Inc. As an Income Distribution Strategist, I subscribe to a unique time segmented, inflation adjusted strategy called The Income for Life Model™. With improvements in healthcare, diet and exercise habits, Americans are generally living longer and enjoying more active and vibrant retirements. Early retirement has also become more common, resulting in many retirees facing the challenge of outliving their retirement assets. Knowing if you have enough money to retire, and then planning to make that pool of money last as long as you need, is the focus of our Income for Life™ model. It can help answer the key question: ‘Do I have enough retirement assets to last my lifetime?”
In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling and biking with my family. My wife Kelli and I live in Sioux City, Iowa. I have three children. I am an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Financial Planners. I have two undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Psychology, and two graduate degrees in Counseling and Adult and Higher Education. I love all of the relationships and friendships I have made over the years since we have started the company EFS Group. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve and help so many well-rounded people.
